Welcome to YBR! My name is Cynthia and I have been working in the field of mental health and addictions for the last two decades. I am a Registered Nurse and completed my Bachelors of Nursing at Mount Royal College (now Mount Royal University). I have spent my career working on multidisciplinary teams within mental health, addictions and forensics. I have had the privilege of learning from great minds. My passion led me to community outreach. I specialize in crisis intervention, where the majority of my years of experience has been in. We hope to help individuals out there struggling to understand the system and find their path.

Hi there my name is Landon, I currently serve as a student outreach for the program. I have been a Correctional Officer for nearly a decade, a number of those years were on the male mental health unit. Where my interest in mental health began. Prior to this, I conducted personal security for entertainers, managed nightclub security and dabbled in professional wrestling, so it was a switch in gears. Throughout the course of my career I have seen the impacts of addiction and decided to help those who are battling those demons. I am currently pursuing my Addictions Counselling through McMaster University.
